"Cat People and Dog People"
(Peter and Ken are talking about exotic animals)
Peter: I read this story in the newspaper about a guy who had a pet crocodile.
Ken: Come on. You're pulling my leg.
Peter: No. I'm very serious. The crocodile lived with the man in his apartment in New York.
Ken: That kind of stuff always happens in New York!
Peter: Apparently, the animal didn't even live in a cage.
Ken: You mean it just wandered around the living room?
Peter: Yep. Free as a bird so to speak.
Ken: Now that's what I call an exotic pet.
Peter: The man lived with the crocodile for 4 years until the police told him that it was illegal to have a crocodile as a pet in New York city.
Ken: How did they find out about the crocodile?
Peter: The man phoned 911.
Ken: What? Why did he do that?
Peter: The crocodile bit his leg! He almost died!
Ken: I guess you shouldn't trust a crocodile.
