"Cat People and Dog People"
(Ken and Hsieh are talking with their friend Ian from Canada)
Ken: So what did you do?
Ian: I called my girlfriend.
Hsieh: Call a woman. That's always a good move.
Ian: We took him to a veterinarian. Bought him some bird seeds and took him home with us.
Ken: So you ended up keeping the bird?
Ian: The bird is at my place in a cage.
Ken: You kept the bird?
Hsieh: Does it sing?
Ian: He's a cockatiel. They can copy sounds.
Hsieh: You mean it- he can talk?
Ian: Uh. Whether he can talk or not, I don't know.
Ian: You see. It's strange, though. Because I had to put him in a cage. I feel weird about that.
Hsieh: Why don't you let him go?
Ian: He'll die outside. He's not native to Taiwan. But we do let him fly around the house a lot.
