"Home Renovations With Ken and Hsieh"

(Ken and Hsieh are shopping at B&Q.)

Ken:   Good job, Hsieh! Throw it all in the cart.

Hsieh: Alright. Are we done here?

Ken:   Almost. One more stop.

Hsieh: Really? What? Are you re-doing your whole place?

Ken:   Come on. You haven't even seen my new place.

Julie:   It's empty. The walls are orange. There's no light and it smells like a wet basement.

Hsieh: So you need some lamps. 

Ken:   Lamps? Yes. And I think I need an air purifier, too.

Hsieh: Those things don't really work. (pause) Do they? 

Ken:   I don't know. I've never had one but I heard that the new ones emit ozone or something and that they are good for... I forget. Let's take a look.

Hsieh: Maybe your new apartment just has poor air circulation? Any windows?

Ken:   It's got two very small windows.

Hsieh: So why don't you buy a ceiling fan with lights?

Ken:   That would kill two birds with one stone.
